Rooney calls Bruno Fernandes and other Manchester United players selfish

Wayne Rooney criticised Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and the club’s other players, calling them selfish. Speaking on The United Stand, he said the players did not want to take responsibility and did not care about their team-mates, manager Michael Carrick, staff or fans. Rooney’s comments followed Fernandes’s criticism of Carrick after United’s Champions League defeat to Como on Wednesday. United have gone seven matches without a win and face Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend.
