Rufisque: A daara at the center of a presumed sexual abuse investigation

An investigation into presumed sexual abuse of a minor has been opened in Rufisque, involving a Quranic teacher, D. D. Sène, accused by a 14-year-old girl. According to her testimony, the abuse began during the previous Ramadan after phone exchanges and meetings in his office. The girl remained silent about the incidents, as the teacher allegedly asked her not to disclose anything to her family.
