On September 14, 2026, Cameroon and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) signed financing agreements totaling 41.92 million euros, approximately 27.5 billion FCFA, for the Integrated Rural Development Project of Dja (PDRI-Dja). This project will fund agricultural activities and rural infrastructure in the East and South regions, benefiting around 250,000 people. The financing was previously approved by the IDB's board of directors on February 7, 2024.
