Russia: $7.6 billion in assets linked to billionaire Vadim Moshkovich transferred to the state

Russian authorities announced the transfer to the state of assets worth 550 billion rubles ($7.6 billion) linked to billionaire Vadim Moshkovich, founder of the agribusiness group Rusagro. Moshkovich has been detained since March 2025 in a criminal case. This confiscation is one of the largest in Russia in recent years. A court had already ordered in May 2026 the transfer of the controlling stake in Rusagro.
