Russia: Barrot warns against a confrontation that is not limited to Ukraine

Jean-Noël Barrot stated that France has been facing Russian actions for several years, including disinformation campaigns and cyberattacks. He mentioned recent incidents such as a Russian frigate firing flares at a Danish helicopter and the destruction of a drone in Lithuania. Barrot also recalled that the Russian military intelligence, the GRU, had been accused of conducting cyberattacks against French interests, targeting public and private entities since 2021.
