Russia: Price of Putin’s limousine drops by €110,000

Russian automaker Aurus has cut the price of its Senat limousine by 20%, from 50 million to 40 million rubles, or approximately €548,000 to €438,000. The limited offer is intended to help the brand meet its 2026 sales targets, ahead of an expected price increase in 2027, when this version is projected to cost 50 to 52 million rubles again. A modernized Senat is already available for pre-order at 49 million rubles, with sales expected between April and June 2027; its starting price is then expected to reach at least 55 million rubles. In June 2024, Vladimir Putin gave a Senat to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during a visit to Pyongyang.
