Russia vs Nigeria: Super Eagles coach, Chelle invites Ajasa to play friendly match

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has invited Rostov midfielder Ibraheem Mahfus Ajasa to join the squad for the friendly against Russia on Tuesday. Ajasa, who joined Rostov last year, hopes to make his debut for Nigeria in this match after captain Wilfred Ndidi withdrew due to injury. The 20-year-old could provide an additional midfield option for Nigeria, which recently suffered a 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in AFCON qualifiers.
