Russia’s jet-powered drones overwhelm Ukraine, killing dozens

On August 29, a Russian drone attack killed 38 people in the village of Myla, followed by 12 more deaths across the country on September 1. The increased use of jet-powered drones by Russia, which are harder to intercept, has led to a rise in civilian casualties. In August, the number of jet-powered drones reached about 2,800, while Russian casualties were estimated at 42,020 for the last month.
