Rutile: Tusker secures favorable recommendation for 21 permits in Cameroon, but its analyses are delayed

Australian mining company Tusker Minerals has received a favorable recommendation for 21 exploration permit applications in Cameroon under its Central Rutile project, but is still awaiting their official grant. Including the Nsimbo permit already awarded, its portfolio covers 22 areas spanning about 9,152 square kilometers, including areas in the Yaoundé West project. The 21 permits remain subject to administrative, tax and legal formalities and the signing of exploration contracts, with no final issuance timetable available. Meanwhile, Tusker says analysis of samples from Boundé, Nganda and Yaoundé West at its Yaoundé laboratory is taking longer than expected.
