Ruto Confirms Matulo Airport Expansion & Ksh130 Billion 4-Lane Nakuru-Malaba Highway

President William Ruto confirmed the expansion of Matulo Airport in Bungoma County and the construction of a 300-kilometer highway from Mau Summit to Malaba. He announced that a new terminal and runway extension at Matulo Airport are expected to be completed by December. Additionally, the government has secured funds for a feasibility study for the Mau Summit-Malaba highway project, with construction expected to launch in April 2026.
