Ruto Embarks on Three-Nation Europe Tour to Expand Market Access for Kenyan Products

President William Ruto left Kenya on June 7, 2026 for official visits to Belgium and Norway, and a state visit to Finland. The trip aims to attract investment, expand market access for Kenyan products, and strengthen partnerships. In Belgium, he will meet King Philippe and European Council President António Costa to push for faster implementation of the Kenya-EU Economic Partnership Agreement. In Norway, he will attend the Norway Business Forum focusing on renewable energy and blue economy, and in Finland, agreements on education, technology, and security are expected.
