Ruto Names Paul Russo, Rita Kavashe and Kevit Desai as Chancellors in Latest Appointments

President William Ruto appointed Rita Kavashe as Chancellor of Pwani University, Paul Russo as Chancellor of Kibabii University, and Dr. Kevit Desai as Chancellor of Kabianga University, each for a five-year term. These appointments were announced in a gazette notice on April 2, 2026. Additionally, several other appointments were made to public boards, including Geoffrey K. Maritim as Non-Executive Chairperson of the National Employment Authority.
