Rwanda now adopts green industrial model from Korea

Rwanda is adopting the Korean industrial model to develop its industrial parks while embedding eco-industrial principles. Through the World Bank-supported GIIPS program, financed by the Korea Green Growth Trust Fund, the country is strengthening its foundations for greener and more competitive industrial development. A Rwandan delegation visited Korea in May 2026 to observe this model in practice, which could provide job opportunities while minimizing waste and production costs.

No settlement default recorded since T+1 adoption — SEC
