Rwanda: Over 7,000 to Retake National Exams After Mass Cheating

A total of 7,188 primary school learners will retake the Primary Leaving Examinations after investigations confirmed mass cheating in 254 examination rooms across the country. The Ministry of Education decided to give the learners another opportunity, who initially faced the possibility of having their examinations cancelled. The retake exams will be administered from September 2 to 4, 2026.
