Rwandan Oil Tanker hits Tanzanian police van killing 12 people, including officers and their Prisoners

At least 12 people, including 5 police officers, died when their vehicle collided head-on with a Rwandan oil tanker in Singida Region. The police vehicle was transporting suspects to the Iramba District Magistrate Court when the accident occurred. The bodies of the victims were still on the roadside at the time of reporting. The main cause of the accident remains unknown, although witnesses suggest a possible loss of control of the tanker.
