Sadio Mané’s place on Patrick Vieira’s next squad list settled

After missing Patrick Vieira’s first training camp because of a physical problem, Sadio Mané is expected to return to Senegal’s squad for the two matches against Sudan on November 12 and 16 in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Al-Nassr player recently allayed concerns about his fitness, providing two assists in a 6-2 win over Pakhtakor in the Asian Champions League. His experience is expected to help guide Senegal’s younger players as Vieira prepares to coach his first official match in front of the Dakar crowd.
