Samuel Eto'o faces the TAS: Can his re-election to FECAFOOT be challenged?

Samuel Eto'o's re-election as head of FECAFOOT in November 2025 could be annulled following a complaint from the Cameroonian Association of Football Referees (ACAF) to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS). The TAS has deemed the complaint admissible, stating that the ACAF had the right to act after exhausting internal remedies. The TAS has not yet ruled on the merits but will examine the grievances regarding the ACAF's exclusion from the electoral process and the regularity of the electoral operations.
