Discussions focused on priorities such as taxation, land issues, and agricultural entrepreneurship, aiming to improve the business climate. The Secretary General of the prefecture, Traoré Djibril, expressed the ambition to make San-Pédro an attractive destination for investments in Côte d'Ivoire.

Benin: with the support of the AfDB, 5 aquaculture villages under study as part of the PROMAC project

Five aquaculture villages of 50 hectares each will be studied in Benin, with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB). The sites involved are Allada, Dogbo, Bonou, Agbangnizoun, and Zagnanado. A firm will be recruited to conduct technical and socio-economic studies, as well as environmental and social impact assessments, particularly for Agbangnizoun and Zagnanado. Applications must be submitted by October 6, 2026.
