Sanwo-Olu to politicians: No office worth any Nigerian’s life

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu cautioned politicians against inflaming political tensions ahead of the 2027 general elections, stating that no political office is worth any Nigerian's life. He emphasized that the removal of the fuel subsidy is necessary to save Nigeria's economy and urged political leaders to prioritize the country's long-term interests. At the 7th Annual Lecture of Freedom Online Newspapers, other speakers also highlighted the importance of security and economic development.
