Saudi Arabia intercepts Houthi missiles targeting Riyadh and the Eastern Province

The Saudi-led coalition says it destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis towards the kingdom, including two targeting Riyadh and one aimed at the Eastern Province. It also reported intercepting and destroying two cruise missiles in Riyadh and the southern region. The launches come as fighting intensifies in Yemen, where government forces began the Dawn of Yemen operation last month to retake Houthi-held territory. The Houthi-run Health Ministry says coalition strikes near Sanaa killed 33 people and wounded at least 39; Al Jazeera could not independently verify the reports.
