SCB Cameroon: Client financing increases by 15.7 billion FCFA in August, compared to 1.4 billion for deposits

Financing provided by SCB Cameroon reached 504.96 billion FCFA as of August 31, 2026, an increase of 15.66 billion from July. Deposits only grew by 1.44 billion, totaling 718.64 billion FCFA. The majority of the increase in financing comes from direct credits, which amount to 407.60 billion FCFA.
