On the first day of the 2026-2027 school year, only nine students out of 255 expected attended EP1 INERA Mvuazi in Mbanza-Ngungu. School officials lament a trend among some parents to wait until the second week to send their children. Inspector Esther Kitala urged parents to adhere to the school calendar and send their children, even in old uniforms, to benefit from the lessons.
