2027: ‘Being Africa’s Biggest Party Is Not Enough’ — Aiyedatiwa Inaugurates Ondo APC Presidential Campaign Council

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa inaugurated the APC presidential campaign council and its subcommittees in Akure ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging party members to avoid divisions and unite behind Bola Tinubu’s re-election. Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami called for grassroots, door-to-door campaigning to secure one million votes for Tinubu in Ondo State.

Participants urged the government to monitor costs and road quality after a study by the University of Kinshasa’s CREEUK found that the asphalt layer was only 7 cm thick. They also called for compensation for people whose plots along the ring roads were affected.
