SEDC agro-mechanisation project set for Enugu flag-off

The first of 15 agro-mechanisation projects planned by the South East Development Commission (SEDC) is set to launch next week in Enugu State. SEDC's Managing Director, Mark Okoye, announced that the project aims to address food insecurity, unemployment, and insecurity in the region. The program plans to develop 50,000 hectares of land for mechanised farming, starting with pilot farms of 200 to 300 hectares in each senatorial zone.
