Semenyo ruled out for eight weeks as Man City sweat over Haaland

Antoine Semenyo is expected to miss around eight weeks with a knee injury sustained during Manchester City’s 3-2 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday. Manager Enzo Maresca said scans showed the injury was less severe than feared and that Semenyo could return in December. Erling Haaland, who limped off in the same match, remains a doubt for Tuesday’s Champions League game against AEK Athens, though he felt better on Monday. Mateo Kovacic, Nico O’Reilly and Matheus Nunes also had injury concerns, but no extended absences are expected for them.
