Senate confirms Yugudu as CBN deputy governor.

The Senate confirmed Mahmoud Isa Yugudu as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) during a plenary session in Abuja. The confirmation followed a report presented by the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions. President Bola Tinubu had earlier forwarded the nomination to the Senate for approval.
