The Italian group Eni has signed a protocol agreement with the Senegalese Ministry of Energy and Petroleum to study five offshore blocks: SN01M, SN02M, SN03M, SN07M, and SN40M. Eni will finance a geological study program at no cost to the Senegalese state, utilizing existing seismic surveys and previous drilling results. This protocol does not constitute an exploration permit and remains subject to existing legal procedures. PETROSEN, the national company, plays a central role in this partnership.
