Senegal: Hervé Renard's former right-hand man proposed to succeed Pape Thiaw

Patrice Beaumelle, former assistant of Hervé Renard with whom he won two Africa Cup of Nations titles (2012, 2015), has been proposed to succeed Pape Thiaw as head coach of the Senegal national team. Beaumelle, available since leaving Espérance de Tunis in May, knows African football well and has also applied to FUS Rabat.
