Senegal: Mané returns as Vieira prepares an attacking surprise

Patrick Vieira is expected to announce his second squad on Thursday for Senegal’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Sudan on November 12 and 16. Sadio Mané, who missed the previous camp with a physical problem, is expected to return and support the new generation. Iliman Ndiaye should also feature in an official match under Vieira after serving his suspension. Brest winger Pathé Mboup, 23, could be the surprise selection after scoring two goals and providing one assist in the first nine Ligue 1 rounds.
