The Council of Ministers, held unusually at the Presidential Palace, discussed preventive flood management, the redefinition of sanitation policies, and the creation of a National Sanitation Fund. The President called for a quick technical audit of sanitation governance issues and tasked the Prime Minister with overseeing the completion of strategies and studies to prevent flooding. He also mentioned accelerating territorial development programs and relocating national celebrations.
