Senegal’s Lions move base camp to Diamniadio for matches against Sudan

Senegal’s Lions will prepare in Diamniadio for their two matches against Sudan in the third and fourth rounds of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The training camp, originally planned for the King Fahd Palace, has been moved, and the players are scheduled to train for four days at Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium to preserve the pitch for the match. Head coach Patrick Vieira’s press conference, initially scheduled for October 28, has been postponed to November 5, when he is expected to announce the squad.
