Senelec: The Important Announcement by Al Aminou Lo Regarding Electricity Prices

Prime Minister Al Aminou Lo called for the support of the National Assembly to allow Senegal to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the site exit price, related to the Grand Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas project. He expressed frustration over delays caused by legal maneuvers and urged cooperation between Senegal and Mauritania to compel BP to fulfill its commitments. Lo emphasized that Senegal's right to receive LNG is tied to its energy sovereignty.
