Service chiefs should honourably resign if they can't fix insecurity - Reps

Nigeria's House of Representatives has warned service chiefs to resign honourably if the country's security situation does not improve. Lawmaker Ibe Osonwa sponsored an urgent motion citing the constitutional duty to protect citizens. He condemned the rise in kidnappings, banditry, and attacks on schools and places of worship. The House also urged President Bola Tinubu to implement a comprehensive security strategy.
