Seven killed and 23 missing in boat capsizing off northern Cyprus

At least seven people have died and 23 others are still missing after a ferry capsized off northern Cyprus. The boat, carrying 259 passengers and eight crew members, began taking on water after departing the coastal town of Kyrenia. The Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus stated that the captain and seven crew members have been detained as part of an investigation into this tragic incident.
