Seychelles picks Tanzania trained Barbe to head Industrial Estates

Seychelles appointed Chrissant Barbe, trained in Tanzania, as the new CEO of the Industrial Estates Authority. Barbe, with over 25 years of public service experience, has held various senior management roles and has been in the position since October 1, 2026. He holds degrees in public administration, governance, sustainable development, coastal management, and environmental science, and has worked in departments including boundary delimitation, policy analysis, revenue, and health.
