Shakira to cap off world tour with Madrid 12-gig run

Shakira will kick off a twelve-concert run in Madrid this evening, marking the end of her world tour and her return to Spain after an eight-year absence. The 49-year-old Colombian singer will perform at a temporary 50,000-seater stadium until October 11. Her last performance in Spain was in 2018, and she embarked on her world tour in February 2025 to promote her album "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," inspired by her breakup with Gerard Pique.
