Significant decline in activities of Congolese Maritime Lines at the port of Boma

The Congolese Maritime Lines (LMC) are experiencing a significant decline in their activities at the port of Boma, with only five trips per year compared to 22 in 2017 and 2018. This situation is attributed to a decrease in export demand, according to Dieudonné Kasereka, the deputy director of LMC. He emphasizes that local producers are facing challenges and calls for a revival of agricultural production to enhance exports.
