Simone Gbagbo reacts to mass resignations at MGC

Simone Gbagbo responded to the resignations within the Movement of Capable Generations (MGC), stating that it is not a crisis for the party. She explained that the MGC was already undergoing restructuring after the 2025 elections when these departures began. Over 100 resignations have been reported, including that of Klognimban Dominique Traoré, the first vice-president, who cited personal reasons.
