Social Dialogue: The Paradox of an Interprofessional Collective Agreement Unchanged Since 1977

The interprofessional collective agreement in Côte d'Ivoire, adopted in 1977, has not been updated despite the labor code reforms in 2015. Although revision mechanisms exist, social partners have failed to agree on a reform, leaving the text outdated in light of changes in the world of work. The question arises as to why this situation persists, as other social priorities seem to have taken precedence over this necessary update.
