Sokoto governor approves appointment of eight new district heads

Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu has approved the appointment of eight new district heads to fill vacant traditional positions across the state. The appointments were made following recommendations by the Sultanate Council, and the formal turbaning ceremony will be performed later by Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III. The council congratulated the appointees and urged them to contribute to peace and development in their communities.
