Sokoto lawmaker criticizes Tinubu govt over development, insecurity

The Minority Leader of Sokoto State House of Assembly, Abubakar Magaji, criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration, stating he has seen no significant progress in three years. He urged the federal government to do more to address infrastructure gaps and expressed concern over insecurity in Sokoto, where 21 out of 23 local government areas are vulnerable to threats. Magaji reported that insecurity has caused residents to abandon their homes, and he is currently hosting over 20 displaced persons. He contrasted the current insecurity with that during Buhari's administration, when only seven local government areas were affected.
