Sokoto: Terrorists flee as troops overrun forest hideouts, seize weapons

Troops from the Nigerian Army's COAS Special Intervention Battalion 7 dislodged terrorists in Sokoto, recovering high-calibre weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles during a clearance operation in Tangaza. The operation aimed to dismantle terrorist enclaves and restore security in the North-West. Military forces encountered the terrorists in the Magarya forest, forcing them to flee and abandon their equipment, including a PKT machine gun and AK-47 rifles.
