Songon: A 120 Billion CFA Oriental Park, 3,000 Employees and a Snow Complex in the Works

The 'Oriental Park' project in Songon M'brathé, Ivory Coast, was officially launched on June 12, 2026, by Tourism Minister Siandou Fofana. Costing 120 billion CFA francs, it is expected to create 3,000 direct jobs (90% for local youth) and 1,500 indirect jobs. The first phase includes a water park, children's areas, and a hotel; the second phase will feature a snow and ice complex, a first in West Africa, along with a conference hotel. The project also includes social infrastructure (school, medical center, community center) and a foundation for youth and women's professional integration.
