Soumbédioune Cemetery: How Law Enforcement Trapped 8 Suspects in the Middle of the Night

Eight suspects, including five Senegalese, one Nigerien, and two Guineans, were arrested on the night of August 24 at the Soumbédioune Cemetery following complaints of vandalism and theft. Law enforcement conducted a nighttime raid after receiving multiple reports of violent acts in the area. The suspects were brought before the prosecutor, where they denied the charges, claiming they were in the cemetery to spend the night.
