South Africa: 17 Dead and 15 Injured in Wedela Shooting - Lebledparle

A shooting occurred around 9:30 PM in the Extension 3 neighborhood of Wedela, about 80 km southwest of Johannesburg, resulting in 17 deaths (13 men and 4 women) and 15 injuries. The attackers, eight armed men with AK-47 rifles and pistols, opened fire on patrons inside and outside a bar, searched some victims, and took their phones before fleeing in two vehicles. Police are still searching for the suspects, and the motive remains unknown.
