South Africa: Adeboye's Church Funds Return of 500 Nigerians Fleeing Xenophobia, Abuja Thanks

Five hundred Nigerians stranded in South Africa will receive plane tickets funded by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), which donated $265,854 to the Nigerian government. This contribution aims to facilitate their repatriation following a wave of xenophobic violence. Since the evacuations began in June 2026, 1,640 Nigerians have been repatriated, with 1,385 funded by the state. Currently, 202 Nigerians are awaiting final checks before their return.
