South Africa: After a wave of murders, runners equip themselves

Following the death of runner Elizabeth Moselakgomo in September, nine women, including her, were murdered in the East Rand of Johannesburg over two months, some partially nude and beaten. Nancy Masha, a 39-year-old runner, has started carrying protective items like a knife and pepper spray during her jogs due to increasing fear. Police are investigating whether one or multiple serial killers are responsible for these crimes, which have caused widespread concern across South Africa.
