South Africa: Body of 11th woman found, growing concern

South African police discovered the body of a new woman in a municipality east of Johannesburg, bringing the total to 11 women found dead in the region over ten weeks. The latest victim was found in a vacant lot in Ekurhuleni by a patrol vehicle, with her identity, age, and cause of death still unknown. The day before, another body was found near a cemetery in the same municipality, apparently killed with stones, with an autopsy pending. Four people are currently detained in connection with these murders, but no link has yet been established between the cases.
