President Cyril Ramaphosa has been advised to rest after falling ill following his return from the BRICS summit in India. The Presidency announced that he will not participate in public engagements on medical advice, with ministers expected to represent him. Meanwhile, Deputy President Paul Mashatile, who has been out of the public eye since July after a minor medical procedure, stated he is recovering well.
