South Africa to extradite man accused of killing wife, two daughters in UK

A man suspected of murdering his wife and two daughters in Britain before fleeing to Johannesburg will be extradited to face trial in the UK, South Africa's Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi said Sunday. Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, a 45-year-old British citizen of Zimbabwean heritage, was arrested in Johannesburg on Friday in an intelligence-led operation involving Interpol. British prosecutors authorized police to charge him with three counts of murder after the bodies of his wife Zandile Tshuma, 42, and their daughters Natalie, 15, and Nala, 5, were found at their home in Bedfordshire on Tuesday. Tshuma is due to appear in a Johannesburg court on Monday as extradition paperwork is being finalized.
